About the event
This workshop will focus on skills for moving on the floor and upside with confidence and speed.
Drawing from contemporary dance techniques such as Release Technique and elements from Capoeira we will move with flow, weight and momentum.
You will have an opportunity to practice more demanding and technical movements in a safe environment and have time to apply them through set phrases and improvisation.
I will teach some choreography from my own works and we will explore the physicality and ideas within the work to make short phrases in groups.
Knee pads and layers are recommended!
